Trip 2 India

Hi friends!  It’s been a long time. I was doing lots of things all these days. Finished my grade IV by writing exams in between training and got promoted to grade V. I’m happy that I got promoted. Travelled to India, went around Delhi and I am in Pune now.

I along with my mother and sister flew to Delhi from Lagos, Nigeria. Stayed in Delhi for two days, visited few places like Redfort, RajBhavan, India Gate, Jama Masjid, Hyderabad bhavan, etc. I did some shopping too, bought few bracelets, chains and earrings in Delhi. I love to wear them.

We came to Pune from Delhi. I had dropped out of playing from few tournaments as I got the opportunity to get trained with Mr.Nandan bal, the Indian Davis Cup team coach.

It's almost two weeks (since 9-April-11) I started playing in his academy. We play matches every day and I am enjoying them so…….. much. I enjoy playing doubles with my friends. Aditi, Divija, Vaishnavi, Anushka, Atharva, Ronak and 2 Armans are my friends in the academy.

I also played singles and doubles with Nidhitra, who is here for training from Coimbatore. She’s twelve years old and is ranked within the top 50 in U-12 category of the AITA rankings. She has a very hard serve and I am finding it difficult to return her serve. I will practice and learn to return even harder serves very soon.

I met few national players also like Prarthana Thambore. She is #2 in India, U-18 category. It's fun to do fitness with all of them.

I play  four hours a day and do fitness for one hour. I'm enjoying my tennis in Pune more than in Nigeria as i was playing alone there and here I have many friends to play with.

Sunday is a holiday for my tennis. So the Sunday, 17th April, Mom, Bhavi and I watched "IceAge Rio". I’m excited to watch the movie. Nidhitra also came with us. We all had fun together.

Wish you all a happy weekend and Happy Easter holidays.

Bye for now.
